Community Anchor Institutions
One of the goals of the Hawaii Broadband Map project is to create detailed, interactive maps of broadband coverage across the state. As part of this goal, Hawaii Broadband Map is collecting information about broadband adoption at community anchor institutions, including K-12 schools, universities, libraries, hospitals/emergency medical facilities, and public safety facilities such as state and local police stations.
If you have information about community anchor institutions that could improve our data, please contact us at support@hibroadbandmap.org.
In addition, the Hawaii Broadband Map team encourages users to take the speed test from CAI locations to help accurately identify where broadband coverage exists and to determine the level of performance being experienced.
